Repair and Upgrade Parachute Drying Tower B90743, Hurlburt Field, FL

Reasor Building Group installed a canopy over the exterior entrance and relocated the interior parachute wash tubs to the exterior (under the new canopy). This included the removal of the existing manual parachute hoist system and replacement with a mechanized lift system. All structural modifications to existing tower structure were performed to support the Lifting System and mechanical components. Electrical improvements necessary to power the system, controls including both Local Control Stations and Operator Control Pendants and start-up assistance {Operator Training) were also included. In addition, two existing parachute wash sinks were relocated from inside of the existing facility to immediately outside. An awning was installed at the exterior entrance to provide cover for the new wash sink location. All plumbing was routed as necessary to make the sinks functional.
